This is a wonderful and useful tool, as long is it works on the head of a bolt. If you have a nut with the bolt through it longer than 1/4" then it is too shallow to work in that scenario, but otherwise useful for a lot of things!

I'm a nurse, & I've worked in surgery over 30 yrs. I know quality metal, because we don't use cheap disposable instruments in surgery. When I took the socket out of the box. I was expecting cheap quality, - but it was quality, had weight, - which as I said in surgery and in anyone's garage, lightweight doesn't work. I gave one to a guy that works on my lawn mower, and he was impressed. I also gave one to my uncle who is a carpenter and sort of jack of all trades, was also impressed. He said, "I've got parts on order for my Model T & I'm going to try it on that." He too was impressed with -how it worked and with the quality. If you could somehow make this to work on screws, because when a patient has hardware in and needs it removed, a broken screw set is unreal! Lots of choices in the set. It would be great to have 1 thing to remove the hardware. Just thinking! Thank you for making quality and yes, I've used it to chuck up in my drill to remove some bolted screws and it worked great! It also worked in my socket wrench.
